Dr. Ana Maheshwari
Dr. Ana Maheshwari is a double-board certified Rheumatologist in Orange County, California.
She graduated from one of the best medical schools in India, Manipal University. She then finished her Internal Medicine Residency at Drexel University (Mercy Catholic Medical Center) in Philadelphia and did an additional year as a Chief Resident. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York. During her training she received awards for her outstanding leadership and dedication as well as the “Exemplar of Professionalism award” by the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Maheshwari worked at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio as a Staff Rheumatologist prior to moving to California. She aims to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care in a personalized manner.
Recently, she was chosen as the recipient of the prestigious “Lovell-Jones Scholarship” to pursue an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She strives to incorporate her passion for wellness, nutrition, mind-body techniques, and holistic health when seeing her patients. She believes her patients benefit from a combined pharmaceutical and integrative approach. Dr. Maheshwari has grown up and travelled extensively through North America, the Middle East, Europe, and India. This helped her acquire a deep-seated respect and understanding for diverse communities and different cultures. Outside of work, she loves travelling and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her two little boys keep her busy when she is not at work!
